Pray with Us

"The atmosphere and climate of Dallas will change because the intercessors have taken their place . . . “

- Pastor Justin Michael

Kingdom Prayers

What are we always praying?
  • Apostolic Church Dallas: Pray special prayers of protection and provision over Pastor Justin, Madelyn, and their family (1 Timothy 2:1-4), our ministers and ministry leaders, and individual members of the church. Pray for the advancement and and continued effective ministry of AC Dallas!
  • Neighborhoods: Partner with our neighborhood leaders in prayer as they host our house-to-house gatherings. Pray that the heavens would open over their homes, and over the lives of the community of believers they steward. Pray that the kingdom of God would be established in their neighborhood and that evangelistic efforts would be fruitful.
  • City of Dallas: Pray for Dallas’s leaders, schools, colleges and universities, ministers, businesses, and economy. As we partner with heaven and pray His will for this city, we will see it in Dallas as it is in heaven!
  • Harvest: Pray for revival and for laborers to be raised up and sent out into the city. Pray that God would lift veils so the revelation of Jesus Christ would reach the lost.
  • Territory: Pray for continued grace and wisdom to steward the land He has given us and pray that He would expand our territory so we can reach more neighborhoods, and facilitate more encounters with Jesus.
  • Missions: Pray for financial increase for missions. Pray for “great and effectual doors” to open for those sent on kingdom assignments. Pray for the raising up, the sending out, and the protection of missionaries around the world!
  • Ministry Partners: Please keep the ministers and organizations that partner with and preach at Apostolic Church Dallas in your prayers!

Miracle Opportunities

What are the current needs of our members, ministry partners, city, and nation?
  • Pastor James Wilson: Pray for continued favor, and blessings for him and his family as they partner with God to plant a church in Columbia, Maryland.
  • Wildfires in California: Wildfires have destroyed homes, businesses, schools, and have taken the lives of many. Please pray for the families and the ministries affected by this natural disaster.

Kairos Moments

What is happening in our world right now?
  • US Presidential Inauguration: It is important to remember that our goal is not to see our preferred politician in office, but in all situations, we pray that His kingdom would come, and His will would be done. Ask the Lord to search your heart and align our will and our desires to His. Bind division and loose the spirit of unity in the body of Christ. Pray that God would give favor, wisdom, and protection to our leaders. Pray that they would do His will, and facilitate the works of His kingdom.
  • Israel-Hamas War: Pray that God would protect and comfort the people in these nations. Ask that He would give increased grace and provision to the missionaries and churches planted there. Bind fear and pray for an outpouring of His love and joy. Pray that God would stir up a hunger for Him in those nations, and that people would seek Him and find Him despite the physical and spiritual warfare.

Cultivating a Lifestyle of Prayer

Worship
The Hebrew word for worship means to bow oneself down: It puts us in the proper position before Jesus and helps us put the cares of this world in the proper perspective as well. Worship brings us into fellowship with Him and helps us align with His heart and His mind.
Pray in Community
Connect with others as you pray. Bear one another’s burdens and share what the Lord is speaking to you.
Neighborhoods and Morning Prayer at the church are a GREAT place to do this!

Fast
Fasting crucifies our flesh and makes it much easier to walk after the Spirit. When fasting, be sure to feed your spirit: Worship. Pray in the Spirit. Read the Word. Watch sermons.

Pray the Word
In faith, declare the Word of God over yourself and the person or situation you’re praying for. Angels respond to His voice, and God loves answering His own prayer requests!
Select a Time and a Place to Pray
Jesus had specific places He retreated to for prayer alone, and sometimes with disciples. Consecrate a space to the Lord and meet with Him at a specific time to help develop a rhythm of prayer.
Pray Without Ceasing
Even though you may leave the “prayer closet”, it doesn't mean you have to leave the throne room. Let living water continue to flow no matter where your day takes you! Abide in Him and remain open to what the Lord wants to say to you or through you.
